There is science behind it

I was talking to my friend today at the gym and she was telling me how she can’t seem to lose any weight. She’s already in great shape, has run marathons and works out regularly both cardio and weight conditioning.  I asked her if she still drinks soda – she said one a day. I said well give it up – like it’s easy or something! I gave up all soda a long time ago and I personally contribute it to helping me lose weight faster and help to flatten my stomach even more. I drank diet coke like it was going out of style! I realized that I had been drinking Diet Coke since I was in my early teens and had not gone 24hours without Diet Coke in years! That’s a lot of phenylalanine!  I started off with a goal of 7 days, then had one, then tried for a month, then decided to just give it up for good. I can honestly say that I don’t miss it at all at this point.

I was looking up some info on soda and weight loss/gain:

It seems the science is behind it – try giving it up for a day, a week, or even a month and I bet you will find it’s not so hard to give it up for good.
