Takin it One Day at a Time…right?

Before I get to workout info – I had to share that I really really and I mean Really did not want to workout this morning. For a  moment – the sleep monster was talking to me about how tired I was and how one day wouldn’t hurt to miss.  For some reason, I just wasn’t feeling wide eyed and bushy tailed this morning to go and workout.  There are days when I don’t feel like going – plain and simple. But, I tell myself “no excuses”, there is no “not going”. So I get up and get ready to go, because the truth is I know that I will feel good once I am there and then even better when its over!  So — I did go, had a great workout, and feel so much better overall.

So as much as I workout – I still play the mental game of finding reasons to NOT go – it doesn’t end once you commit to this lifestyle. One day at a time…

One response to “Takin it One Day at a Time…right?”

  1. I feel ya, after 3-4 nights of not sleeping well, I finally slept last night and I didn’t want to get up either (and Lord knows I am not motivated to get to work)! But, I got up and went to Lifetime today – struggled through 4 miles on the treadmill thanks to a bad hamstring that doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Then I swam for about 30 min in the pool – was happy that I ended up burning about 725 calories today!
