Just what I needed


I am feeling better today. Physically – I got a lot of extra sleep yesterday. When I got home, I took a nap and then also went to bed at my normal 9p time. Mentally, I feel better too. One great thing about working out with a group – they are there to pick you up when you need it. All you have to do is ask for it, which I did. I feel so lucky to have them in my life –  helping me continue on when you hit some valleys to get through.

I am ready for a great fun weekend. I am headed off with some friends for a girls weekend snow tubing and bonding.  Time to get away from the husbands and kids for a few days to recharge, connect and have fun.

I may go for a run at the gym later – just cardio, no weight training.  Oh and again, in full disclosure – I had real ice cream last nite and it was just what I needed!
