It’s Sobering isn’t it?

7 Simple Ways to Reduce Your Cancer Risk.

…estimates that nearly one in two men and women born in 2009 will be diagnosed with cancer at some time during their lifetime.

Think about that estimate above.

That means if you have more than one child today, one of them will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Scary scary. What is more sobering to me is that many of these cases can probably be prevented with healthy and fit living. Not the kind of living where you cut everything out either – but regular exercise, healthy eating, and lots of laughing.  The last part I added but I know it can really help relieve stress and that definitely contributes to living a healthy and fit life. And who doesn’t like to laugh, right?

If you don’t believe me about living a healthy and fit life and how great you feel, go back and review my colon-c blog and see how tough living with cancer is for a relatively healthy, young person who shouldn’t have cancer at all.  I am not one for lecturing, but I really do believe if there is something you can do to prevent cancer, you owe it to yourself and your family to do it. And if you can’t do it alone, ask for help.

That is all –
