It’ still March and that means it’ still Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Here is a first person account of dealing with colon cancer and the importance of early detection.

Estimated new cases and deaths from colon and rectal cancer in the United States in 2009:

New cases: 106,100 (colon); 40,870 (rectal) Deaths: 49,920 (colon and rectal combined)

So get yourself educated about the risks, signs and symptoms of Colorectal Cancers and if you are at high risk, go talk to your doctor.  Please.
