561316_616825108346950_1827675963_nSo another crazy busy weekend for my household that included coaching some great athletes Saturday morning at CrossFit Impavidus, then getting ready to host my daughter’s laser tag birthday party with 13+ tween girls, then a night out with some fellow nutrition challengers to let off some steam. That was just Saturday!

Sunday morning off to coach some more –then did a doozy of a workout compliments of Coach Conan that included a few mini WODs with three minute rest between:

Ran a mile on my own then….

50m two tire flips/50lb prowler pushes
30s on/30s off rowing
3×5 Back Box Squats with resistance band
Can carry 50m/Run 50m/5 Wall Balls

Yeah it was awesomely horrific — and I am feeling it this morning but didn’t want to miss this morning’s workout. To be honest, I wanted to be there more to see my friends. When the alarm went off, my body was trying to tell me to go back to bed but I didn’t listen. Off I went and I do now indeed regret it.

From the start of this WOD, I just had no energy and frankly, didn’t want to be there and at the end, as I was walking to the wall to cool down — yup, I threw up. In fact – three times! Thankfully the trash dumpster was right there and I ran to the bathroom to finish the final hurl. Yeah – when your body tries to tell you to take it easy — you should listen. I am thinking its these damn antibiotics but who knows. So, not the best way to start my week off — I’m hoping it can only get better from here!!
