For Thanksgiving dinner, what side dish would you prefer to accompany your turkey — a serving of well-marinated conflict over how much or how little you eat, or some nice, fresh criticism of your cooking skills?
Food, Kin and Tension at Thanksgiving
This article is funny in that not so funny way – especially if you can identify with it. We all have our “issues” that stem from childhood. When we return to our rightful position in our family tree, those “issues” come back to hit us like a huge, humongous BRICK right in our face.
Ahhh, Families.
Do you have any stories to share about your family holiday get togethers?

My favorite side is green bean casserole! You can make it so it is pretty light and it still tastes delicious on Thanksgiving and w/leftovers!
Cheryl – This post was not actually about favorite side dishes. It was more about family dynamics that come into play during holiday gatherings!
But since you started it: A friend sent me this one and it is really good:

1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar (depending on sweetness)

Combine Topping in bowl.
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
