One of the many reasons I continue to highlight cancer news here in my blog is that I have found that once your family is in the club, you never really leave it –  no matter what the  outcome. Cancer changes you to your core and it’s important to not lose sight of the impact it has on people every day.

These articles are not just telling a story. They are telling stories of real people -our friends, family and neighbors – who are holding on to hope and fighting to stay alive and healthy.  And how important it is to have medical leaders who share the optimism and hope that they can make changes that ultimately will save lives.

I hope you take time to read them – if for nothing else but to be aware of  the growing membership in a club that no one wants to join.
