Workin it out


I did an extra 30 mins of cardio last night – Elliptical work. I felt great afterwards…

holding your body 6 in off the ground
25 partner side high-five push-ups

Workout
5 min stations yet again
BOSU burpees/BOSU squats 25lb kettlebells
Assisted Rope Climb/26in box jumps
Seated sandbag twists/Halos
Swing twist squats 25lbs
Power clean push press 65lbs

Random thoughts while working out today:

1. I need to work on my balance. I was not able to really do the BOSU balance squats at all.  I spent that station shaking like a leaf trying to balance.

2. Spring forward is super hard when you already get up way too early.

3. I’m thankful that the Plumbline ladies are there every morning for me. They make the hour go by fast and we have fun too.  I am so lucky to have them in my life.

I am hoping the rain will stop soon and bring spring here! What are you going to do today to get yourself movin?

  1. mikey stuck us w/ the 16lb ball for the sit ups. it was haaaard! i actually liked the bosu squats, you have to really get set up and get your balance before you attempt the weights. i think i actually kinda liked the 5’s today. shhhhh don’t tell anyone. i’m happy to do away w/ them for good!

    Warmup – 5rounds
    100 jump ropes
    5 burpees
    Strength – max pullups 1 set to failure
    12 w/green band – couldn’t touch anything was harder than I thought, may have been able to do an extra 1 or 2 but not much more.
    20min time limit – AMRAP
    40 wallball (throwing 20lb ball)
    1/4 mile run
    I did 4.5 rounds, finished the run anyway and then ran another 1/2 mile for “fun”
