Scott had a CT scan on Monday. Routine post colon cancer treatment scan. Every time he goes in for one, I get butterflies in my stomach. Totally understandable but I think from now on this is how I will feel when we have to deal with anything medical.  Knowing how I feel through the process, I can only imagine what goes through his mind. Even with his wonderful attitude about moving forward – it still must bring up some of the stress that we shared during treatment. Anyway – Dr. Marshall emailed us this morning and the scan was clear. Whenever he sends us results by email he ends it with …exhale. I like that. It just tells me that he recognizes the stress and the enormity of what is currently and will continue to be a very real issue in our lives.
