Although my family is resuming our lives after our cancer battle — I make it a point to not forget there are many many many more people still fighting or embarking on their journey or unfortunately losing their own battle — Here is a young guy -35 years old who lost his battle with leukemia. I remember this song – it was a great summer theme. Cancer should never be the reason someone so young dies — or anyone for that matter

Cronin wrote the song of the summer of 1999, ‘Summer Girls.’ His brother told TMZ he had a stroke after a long battle with leukemia. He was 35.
