After yesterday’s parallettes, my arms and shoulders are sore! I thought about taking a rest day today, but I am seriously having so much fun at Crossfit Impavidus that I wanted to get up and go. Had I know we were going to do even more shoulder/arm work — I may have thought twice.

Candlestick is a position where you are essentially standing on the back of their shoulders with your feet pointed towards the ceiling. Your arms can either be by their head, or back pushing on the floor to assist with support and balance.

Muscle ups are tough. Jerry at CFI was saying it’s not really about the strength that is needed, its the skill of the transition that makes this one tough to get.
