Happy Valentine’s Day — i prefer to think of this day as a day to appreciate all the wonderful people in my life, instead of looking at it as the one day to be all gushy and lovey dovey. Every day should be like that when you are in love —
Today’s workout on paper seems totally do-able but after about the 3rd round, I seriously started to feel queasy and pukie. I am still shaking 40 mins after finishing it — so you know it was good in a torturous sort of way.

The mandatory rest is hard to get used to, but you really do need to recover after each round. This morning at Crossfit Impavidus – Coach Conan was heading up 6a, he suggested to most of the group to start scaling early because as in most Crossfit workouts, the idea is to not stop — keep going so if that means you scale to do that — scale away! I did scale on the pull ups – using the green band, instead of the blue one which gives the least resistance. Other than that – I did full on push ups, sit ups and squats and my hips are now all wobbly.
The other thing Conan mentioned is this is the perfect workout to do on the road — other than the pull ups you really don’t need any equipment. Next time you are looking for a challenge and you aren’t near a gym – do it minus the pull ups! No excuses right?
