It’s back to my routine. My husband has returned from his work/fun trip to Vegas. It’s been a long week without him and of course one of my kids gets sick. I took her to the Dr early Saturday morning –and skipped my normal workout and sure enough she has strep. We spent the day inside. Sometimes you forget how good it is to force a day when you slow down. I did some organizing, reading, catching up on laundry! She started to feel like herself yesterday!
I have to go get a mammogram this morning. Hard to believe but I’m 40 now and it’s time to start routine screening. I’m nervous mainly because I have no idea what to expect. The joys of getting older!
At CrossFit today, we tackled a lady I just saw on the 10th. Her name is Cindy.

We use a program called beyond the whiteboard to keep track of our workouts so we can see improvements and compare performance –to put it in perspective, the top guy doing this workout did 43 Rounds!! I did 15!! Yowsas!
And once again the elusive kipping pullup got me again. I am sick of this –and have decided I have to spend some serious time working on it. I can’t let this keep getting the best of me!
