I have been beyond busy this weekend — it started Friday evening with Scott and I heading over to a Happy Hour to say goodbye to one of his co-workers. It was a good time and I got to hang with people that I don’t see very often and dinner was paid for — Bonus!
Saturday morning was the Whole Life Challenge kickoff. We have almost 40 people signed up for this challenge and I know we are going to see some big changes and lifestyle transformations. It’s going to be quite an adjustment for so many of them — but if they really stick to it, it will turn out better than they can imagine! I sound like an infomercial don’t I?
After the challenge was over, I stayed a bit later and Coach Nate met me to help me with some Oly Lifting I am struggling with. He and I worked on the Oly Snatch for an hour or so and I think I made some progress. It’s amazing what small tweaks to your form will do to make the impossible possible. Thanks Nate for coming in to help! Much Appreciated.
Then it was time to get ready for Hannah’s 10th birthday party sleepover with 7, 9-10 year old girls! It was loud, fun and emotional – just like Girls that age! Scott and I woke up extra tired Sunday morning but fun was had by all.
Sunday – the girls headed to their homes and I headed to CrossFit again to get some folks started on the Challenge. They weren’t able to make the Saturday kickoff, so we got them all set yesterday. Then Kim and Liz met me and we did the Cindy workout, with a slight tweak. Instead of 20m we did 15m.
Cindy
5 Pull Ups
10 Push Ups
15 Squats
All=Hell 🙂
I did 9rounds+15reps and had to climb up on a box each time, which I referred to as the Mountain.
