Another winter storm warning for my county this evening –should be interesting if the kiddos have school tomorrow. I sure hope so because it’s my birthday and I was looking forward to hanging out, some quiet, lunch with a friend. No pressure, no having to take care of anyone during the day. So cross your fingers that all will work out and the kids will be at school where they belong!
I just got back from Bod Pod Testing. I wish I hadn’t done it because I am not happy with the numbers that came back. I even went so far as to look up how accurate the test is. Turns out it’s one of the most accurate measurements. Ugh. I have some work to do to get back to where I was a year or so ago. I think mentally i needed to see this to really jolt my mind into getting my act together. The past six months of being home – the first few months – wallowing and depressed about my job situation did not go without consequences to my waist line.
Before I left to do the Bod Pod – I told myself: this is not a measurement of my worth. So silly that i have to say that but not surprising. At the end of the day, it just means I have some work to do. I will get there —
