Cancer has been on mind the past day or so- and it sucks plain and simple. It sucks for famous people, young people, old people, fit and unfit people. It really doesn’t discriminate – unfortunately there seems to be a cancer for everyone. Whenever I read or learn about someone newly diagnosed, fighting cancer or losing their life to this awful disease, it brings back so many memories of my family’s experience. It’s a type of PTSD for sure. I am filled with sadness for the families of these young men below and it reminds me how blessed and grateful I am that Scott is still here and healthy. Every day really is a blessing…
