I don’t want to post anything today other than information about the Hobby Lobby decision by the Supreme Court. A facebook friend shared:
Hobby Lobby wins in a NARROW RULING….but here’s a thought…
Here is the slightly glossed-over rank hypocrisy of Hobby Lobby, in one sentence:
“They will cover male contraception, in the form of a vasectomy.”
Unlike female oral contraception (“The pill”), which have also been used to treat other medical conditions, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, amenorrhea, menstrual cramps, adenomyosis, menorrhagia (excessive menstral bleeding), menstruation-related anemia and dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), vasectomy has no other medical indications besides birth control.
Unadulterated hypocrisy.
I completely agree with Justice Ginsberg and her take on how wrong this decision was — It’s a very scary day in this country when Five White Conservative Men decide what’s best for a woman’s reproductive health.

Actually standard oral contraceptives ARE covered. The only exclusion is abortifacients. And sorry gentlemen, Viagra is NOT covered. Those are common myths perpetrated to enrage people who they know will trust anything they are fed by liberal media sources without question and never do their own research to realize they are being fed a crap sandwich. But way to keep the spin machine going! #FactsAreHard

Thanks for commenting. I appreciate and welcome discussion – dissenting or agreeing. It’s what makes the world go round…
Doesn’t change my opinion about the ruling no matter whether viagra is covered or not. Companies should not be able to make personal health decisions for women. And Birth Control pills are used for much more than just contraception. Justice Ginsberg brings up many good points as to what’s wrong with deciding in favor of Hobby Lobby. #Companiesarenotpeople
