It’s Empowering!


One of the athletes this morning did a headstand for the first time in a very long time and after the workout she said to me, “That was so empowering”! How great is that to start your day? Empowered!

She is one of our newer athletes, is the mom of 6 kids, and gets her butt here and gives it her all. Now that to me is impressive and inspiring.  There are no excuses for any of us when you find stories like that.  I did say SIX kids! Holy cow!

Speaking of Holy Cow — today’s workout was all about isometrics and it was a challenge!

total reps for 5x was 44. I did manage to hold each for 30s without a break for all 5 rounds! My traps and shoulders are smoked!
