A workout win for the week!


A new routine met me at group today and boy it was a tough one. SOTTs presses are hard and for some reason I cant balance on the back of my heels. So imagine a squat and you are supposed to be holding a bar above your head, arms locked, and bring the bar back to your shoulders, and then up again, lock your arms — repeat. Now think about it when you have issues with balance –so the final PT station took me a lot longer than it should have and it had nothing to do with the weight I was holding up. I started with 45lbs which was fine but because I kept falling over, I lowered it to 35lbs and still struggled with falling over. I will get it eventually.

Good news is I think I really did unlock my issue with the box jumping and with more practice, I will be so much faster and more efficient with them. I was able to jump/down/jump/down a lot faster than Tuesday instead of resetting after every jump/down/reset/jump/down/reset. So there is a win for the week!
